These champagne cups come in 2 sizes. We sell both in sets of 12, the standard cup fits perfectly in our Field Tantalus.
Standard Beaded Champagne Cups
The Standard Beaded champagne cup is quite large, 8cms in height, 7.5cms across the top with a capacity of 275mls. The cups are plain polished silver in the inside not gilded and they have a nice rope beadwork around the base, the rim is a square lip and easy to drink from.
Large Beaded Champagne Cups
This is a larger version of the Standard Beaded Champagne Cup, at a capacity of 350 mls for most it is probably too large for champagne (but of course, not for the enthusiast) and it looks most impressive on the table .
It stands a stately 9.5 cms tall and 8.5cms across the top. It has a nice square rim, plain polished on the inside, and the most magnificent of cups – I have sold several as water glasses for an elegant shoot lunch room.
These cups are not gilded, whilst gilding is very attractive it does interfere with the colour of the contents and this cup gives an option to those who simply prefer not to have gilding.
All of our cups come with a custom made leather case. There are now a large number of shoots that use our cases and cups and their robustness and quality is clear to see, especially when you consider the age of some sets, in some instances the sets are well over ten years old.
Our leather lined case is easily cleaned and wiped down should the remnants of a drink spill into it between elevenses and the end of the day.
The cups are made up of bridle leather and a pigskin lining. The outer of the case is a dark Havana coloured bridle leather and the lining of the case is a coloured pigskin with it’s finished side towards the cups for durability. The build process is a mix of machine stitching and hand box stitching on the case ends. This makes for a very strong and robust product.
Case and Cup Finishing
We can also personalise the case by embossing the case with initials, a name, or a shoot name.
In addition to this we can engrave the cups with initials, a crest, or an image. If you are interested engraving the cups please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss the requirement and we will generate a quote for this bespoke service.
