A gun cleaning mat suitable for infield cleaning in a car boot or an end of day strip down at home. The leather construction contains a two pocket pouch and a faux fleece lined mat.

The gun cleaning mat is 35cm wide and over 1m long so it’s large enough for most guns although not so big that it is overly bulky. The leather mat is durable and offers protection from the below surface. Can be used as cleaning matt for a shotgun or a rifle mat.
Proper gun maintenance is important and shouldn’t be overlooked. Be it a quick gun cleaning at the end of a day in the field prior to drive home or a thorough strip down on a bench in your gun room the Gun Cleaning mat easily rolls out to provide safe surface. The mat has a two piece pocket at one end that can store all of your essential tools and easily rolls with a 125ml oil spray inside.
The mat will easily hold 125mm Napier spray oil, three piece rod, Jag, mop, brush, rags and pull throughs with space for a few other essentials.
The tools shown in the picture are examples of our Shaw & Sons tools that are made to order typically taking 3 to 4 months.
The rolls are made to order, will be shipped within 2-4 weeks on their own or with standard tooling. Please contact us if you have an urgent requirement for yourself or a gift and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
The Gun Mat is available with or without tools.
Standard tools include, three piece rod, jag, mop, brush, bore snake, 125ml Napier oil (UK only)
Shaw & Son hand-made tools, 1 x 3mm Turn Screw, 3 piece ebony rod, Dust Brush, Jag, Mop, Brush, Bore Snake. Tools will be Horn and nickel silver 125ml Napier oil (UK Only).
