GRIPSTICK SHOOTING STICK
This is a clever bit of kit, it combines a lightweight shooting stick with an empty cartridge case picker up.
The shooting stick is fully adjustable for height and the tip of the stick will pick up about 15 cartridges, the wide kicker plate turns – just as a normal seat and the whole shooting stick is a very practicable piece of shooting kit.
The seat is made from hard plastic and the stem is plastic coated metal and the whole stick is in a rather pleasing dark green – it is packed in a smart tube – a great gift.
GRIPSTICK MAGNETIC PICKER-UP
This cartridge picker up is telescopic from about 20″ closed to about 40 ” fully extended. It has a twist lock to lock the extension at whatever length you choose.
It will pick up about 25 empty cases easily and it also has a metal clasp to attach it to a belt or gunslip.
It comes packed in a smart plastic tube making it a nice present, colour dark green.
Probably made in China.
CARTRIDGE BOY LONG
The Original Cartridge Boy is 34″ long and has two very powerful earth magnets -one exposed at the end and one 3″ up the shank, this allows you to pick up about 20 cartridges with ease. The spent cases will actually jump 2″ off the ground onto the magnet! This stick is not really designed as a walking stick but so far no one has broken the exposed magnet which is a surprise as they are meant to be brittle.
CARTRIDGE BOY SHORT
The Cartridge Boy Short is useful in a pigeon hide, being 17″ long it fits into our drum seats and is wonderful for extracting cartridge cases from the nettles in summertime. When the day is over and the hide taken down then this tool is such a help when cartridge cases are scattered everywhere.
I often take the short version on driven days as it is easily carried under the flap of the cartridge bag and it is a pleasure to use after a decent drive. Unless you are very tall or have a really bad back it is only the last foot or so of bending down that is the problem – the short stick is quite long enough for most people to make picking up cartridges no effort and it also keeps your hands clean.
SPENT CARTRIDGE BAG
In the old days, tidying up empty cartridge cases was the keepers job – but no more; here is a smart alternative to the supermarket carrier bag.
My empty cartridge bags are made from really good quality dark green cotton drill, closing with very strong drawstrings on both sides. The material is soft but very strong and will fold up nicely to take up little space in the pocket of you or your loader.
I have 4 sizes – Small – 50 , Medium -100 , Large- 150 and Extra large- 200 .
I will provide the appropriate bag, free of charge, with the purchase of any new cartridge bag.
